SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL GmbH, Munich, Germany (DSI). DSI is the
exclusive licensee for all construction systems and techniques developed by DW. The so-called licensee business of DYCKERHOFF & WIDMANN (DW) has a long
tradition dating back to 1950. It was based on the sale of know-how developed by
DW and was covered within DW by a separate department, the License
Department. D
ue to the promising growth of the license activities, DW decided in 1979 to
establish DSI as an independent organization in order to take over the work of the
License Department and to continue the successful worldwide marketing of the
DYWIDAG systems and technical know-how. Today the DSI Group of Companies is an internationally operating network of
wholly-owned subsidiaries, associated companies and representatives held by
Dyckerhoff & Widmann AG. DSI GmbH, Munich, is responsible for coordinating
business within the Group. DSI global activities report to 3 headquarters, located in Munich for Europe and
the Middle East, Hong Kong for the Far East Region and Chicago-Bolingbrook for
USA, Canada and Latin America. Within the main fields of activity such as pre-stressing, geo-technics and
reinforcement, DSI is distributing the following systems and techniques :
