Inside Casa Mia — where light becomes part of the architecture.

Warm, carefully integrated lighting accentuates the textures, materials, and architectural details throughout the interior. Around the staircase, layered illumination creates depth and a softer sense of movement between spaces.

Lighting design and DALI system by XYIllumination.

Casa Mia — from first lines to built form.

The design began with a study of proportion, openness, and the relationship between indoor and outdoor living. These early sketches shaped the spatial language and tropical character that would later define the completed home.

Casa Mia — architecture revealed through light.

As daylight fades, warm architectural lighting brings depth to the façade, highlighting the timber, stone, and layered volumes while creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The lighting design by XYIllumination, integrated with a DALI control system, helps shape the atmosphere of the home after dark.

A new rhythm within the tropical landscape.

A series of sculptural roofs defines the project, creating a strong architectural identity while responding naturally to the surrounding terrain. Beneath them, open and intimate spaces flow between architecture, landscape, and everyday experience.

Designed to feel expressive yet grounded—where structure, material, and nature become one continuous composition.

Elevate your next coastal project.

At 2M Associate, our design philosophy is rooted in “contextual honesty”—listening to what the environment demands rather than forcing a structure onto a site.
For high-exposure coastal locations like our marina project, traditional steel and concrete eventually surrender to the elements. By choosing premium engineered timber, we build with a medium that is naturally resilient, bypasses corrosion, and breathes with the tropical landscape.
No fighting the harsh marine environment. Just a quiet, seamless transition between the ocean and the architecture.
Architecture crafted for the elements.

Bathed in the warm light of a Lombok sunset.

Every angle of this modern sanctuary is intentionally crafted to dissolve the boundary between inside and out. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glass invites the tropical landscape and ocean breeze directly into the living spaces. Swipe through to explore a design that celebrates nature in its most elegant form.

Designing for first impressions at the new Allure Industries HQ.

The reception area is more than just a waiting space—it’s the first voice of the brand. In this commercial design, we grounded the zone with a minimalist matte black counter, contrasting it against the rich, warm, geometric texture of the ribbed wood ceiling. Track lighting provides the perfect definition, guiding the eye through the open volume.

The translation from concept to creation for the Allure Industries HQ

We believe in celebrating the artistic process behind the physical reality. This minimalist conceptual diagram represents the pure foundational thought behind one of the key artistic installations in the final space. Every powerful project begins as a simple line study of volume and perspective. Pure form.

Structural strength meets artistic rhythm at the Allure Industries HQ.

We utilized these powerful, patinaed metal columns to ground the expansive volume and visually define the boundaries of the main hall. They provide a rugged, textured anchor that contrasts beautifully with the sleek interior finishes. Look closer at the ceiling: the unique perforated pattern adds an unexpected visual beat, complementing the track lighting and architectural artwork. It’s all in the layers.

The architectural logic behind the modern tropical retreat. This conceptual floor plan diagram reveals the spatial strategy and deliberate zoning that define the entire experience. See how the private volumes and social areas are organized around the central courtyard and key circulation paths to ensure light, breeze, and connection to nature are integrated into every corner. Intention is form.
