Az InnoGeo Kft a Szegedi Tudományegyetem spin-off cége, alapítói (köztük az Aquaplus Kft, az Árpád Agrár Zrt, a Geotermikus Koordinációs és Innovációs Alapítvány) a Dél-alföldi régió geotermikus iparágának fejlődése, a geotermikus energia fenntartható kitermelése és felhasználása iránt elkötelezett szervezetek. A cég missziója, a termálenergetikával kapcsolatos régiós fejlesztések koordinálása, a
gazdasági, technológiai és környezeti szempontok közötti egyensúly kialakítása, a kutatóhelyek és a felhasználók közötti innovációs fejlesztési igények és eredmények kétirányú közvetítésére, a geotermikus energiát hasznosító ágazatok, cégek, önkormányzatok számára szaktanácsadási tevékenység végzésére, valamint a hosszú távú fenntarthatóság érdekében a geotermikus hő- és vízkitermelés régiós monitoringjának (így a készletek hidrodinamikai transzport és tároló-modellezésének) elvégzése. A fenti célokat a cég saját humánerőforrásaira támaszkodva, illetve a régió (beleértve a szomszédos szerbiai és romániai területek) kutatóhelyeivel, cégeivel együttműködésben, hazai, határon átnyúló és uniós projektek során, magyar és nemzetközi konzorciumokban kívánja elérni. InnoGeo Ltd is the spin-off company of the University of Szeged, its founders (Aquaplus Kft, Árpád Agrár Zrt, Geothermal Coordination and Innovation Foundation) are organizations committed to the development of the geothermal industry and to the sustainable extraction and use of geothermal energy in the Southern Great Plain region. The mission of the company is to coordinate regional developments related to thermal energy, to create a balance between economic, technological and environmental aspects, to foster two-way transmission of innovation development needs and results between research sites and users, to provide consultancy for geothermal energy sectors, companies and municipalities, and to carry out regional monitoring of geothermal heat and water extraction for long-term sustainability (including the hydrodynamic transport and storage of resources). The company aims to achieve the above goals by relying on its own human resources, as well as in cooperation with research institutions and companies in the region (including Serbia and Romania), in domestic, cross-border and EU projects.
