U utorak 6. ožujka 2018. u Muzeju Mimara u 13 sati održat će se promocija projekta Prijedlog za novu zgradu Hrvatskog muzeja naivne umjetnosti na Vranyczanyjevoj poljani u Zagrebu. Riječ je o privatnoj inicijativi Vladimira Crnkovića, kustosa i ravnatelja HMNU-a od 2003. do 2015., te arhitekta Maria Pehneca, osnivača i voditelja arhitektonskog biroa Idea studio d.o.o.

U prezentaciji sudjeluju: Mira Francetić Malčić, ravnateljica HMNU-a, arhitekt Mario Pehnec te Vladimir Crnković.

Muzej čuva u svojem fundusu oko 1875 umjetnina; slika, kipova, crteža i grafika, poglavito hrvatskih umjetnika.

Mixed use building for accomodation of people with various health problems

Public architectural competition.

The building is designed in the eastern part of the city, along the eastern edge of Gojko Šušak avenue, in the public zone. The starting point for the project is the “city inside a building” ie the concept of a hybrid building for mixed use, with the aim of achieving synergy in the use of content and space throughout the day. Without the sharp boundaries between public and private content it is possible to realize the assumptions of synergy and the future development of the concept of the building as hybrid. A combination of unexpected functions and interdependent activities through the complexity, variety and variety of programs, in search of unexpected, unpredictable, intimate relationships. The building spans across five floors, with underground garage and service areas in the basement. On the ground floor there is the main entrance and a multifunctional hall with a separate entrance from the plaza, while accommodation units with eastern and southern orientation are situated on the upper floors, with a restaurant above the multifunctional hall, a therapeutic center and a two-storey atrium with niches for rest and walking. Part of flat green roof is “chef’s garden” and part of it is covered with solar panels.

Residential building next to the main access road to Hvar town centre. The program includes underground garage, a ground floor commercial space and 2 residential floors comprising a total of 4 apartments. The geometry of the roof and wall surfaces, follows the spatial forces and site configuration, defining the compact body of the building from which all sides offer attractive views of the historic town centre, fortifications and surrounding hills with vineyards and olive groves.

Shopping and business facilities in the residential area
Zagreb, Siget
Plot area: 9000m2, Building area: 10100m2
project 2017.

Public architectural competition.

Competition entry for the business complex consisting of two four-storey office buildings on the east side, aligned with the street, and a one-storey shopping centre with ground floor parking, on the western side. In the northern part of the plot is a green area with footpaths, ensuring the continuity of the current use of this area as pedestrian communication linking the western part of Siget neighbourhood with the tram and bus station. The facade of the shopping centre, shaped by three-dimensional panels of various sizes, creates distinctive landmark, while large facade openings provide attractive views from the shopping centre towards Dubrovnik Avenue. The glazed facades of office buildings define the west front of Froud Street, enabling optimum amount of daylight and sunshade for the office space. Roof gardens on top of the buildings compensate the green areas lost by new construction and refine the view of the complex from surrounding skyscrapers.

The gymnasium and economic school of benedikt kotruljević

Public architectural competition, 1st prize.

The gymnasium and economic school building with sports hall, on a sloping ground in the Zagreb hillside. Following the configuration of the terrain, the entry level is placed in the middle of the section, and the public spaces of the school are located on the lower floor, in contact with the terrain. Since the plot area is not big enough to accommodate the program for the outdoor school spaces, there is an extra outdoor space for socializing and sports activities on the top of the sports hall. The classrooms are mostly south orientated, whereas transparent organization, natural lighting and landscape views from the common areas create a stimulating space for education.

Reconstruction of the office building, and interior design

Existing office building is being extended on by adding new two-storey spaces laterally. These spaces will accommodate the new showroom and service area, and are connected with the offices on the first floor. Interior design of new as well as existing spaces is based on grey scale colour scheme combined with the natural oak wood. The existing and new parts of the building are being wrapped by common membrane made of aluminium slats, is a sun protecting element and changes appearance of building to a landmark representing the company.

Two apartment buildings, each with 3 units, in the touristic area of Pag island. In accordance with the Mediterranean tradition, outdoor areas are treated as an equal part of the residential area. Each residential unit has its own outside area with a sea view.

Reconstruction of macrobiotic center
Zagreb, Ilica 72
P=1400m2
project 2009-2010.

A new macrobiotic center is located in the heart of the city, with back side oriented toward the wooded slopes of park. The existing street building retains its purpose and size, while destroyed courtyard wings are reconstructed, complementing the existing facilities. The project accepts the historical complexity, while satisfying the functional characteristics of the program. The project makes new values of the internal courtyard space and opens up towards the green slopes.

Two apartment buildings for the POS programme in Sisak
Sisak, Petrinjska street
Building area: 3.050+3.050m2
project: 2002, construction: 2004.

Public architectural competition for the POS programme housing, 1st award.

The project is conceived as the “meander,” which by alternate sequencing of full and empty breaks a large volume into a series of smaller ones, providing a minimum of double-sided orientation for all dwellings. Voids are designed as joint gardens. Tenants use and cultivate the garden oriented toward their apartment, participating in creation of individualized neighbourhood environment stimulating social connections.
