This might be one of the

Best Jon boats setups out there! This is a fully electric setup which makes it quiet and super easy to adjust your position for fishing! With the slight turn on the handle you can go from forward to reverse with ease.

The unit itself is very lightweight and capable of reaching speeds in the 10–13 mph range at boost depending on rig and onboard weight.

The boat we tested this on in the video is a 1436 Jon Boat

🚤 Boatbuilder Spotlight | Highfield

This month, we're shining a light on Highfield, one of the innovative boatbuilders working with ePropulsion systems to bring efficient, electric propulsion to life on the water.

🔧 The build: Highfield Patrol 460
⚡ Powered by: 1 x X20 Electric Outboard Motor-XL
Total Power: 20.0 kW
🌊 Built for: Safety boat, harbour patrol craft or rescue boat

The Highfield Patrol 460 features a durable aluminium deep-V hull with inflatable Hypalon or PVC tubes, creating a lightweight yet robust platform that delivers stability, buoyancy and a dry ride even in challenging conditions. Instead of conventional petrol or diesel engines, this boat is powered by an ePropulsion X20 electric outboard motor, a 20 kW system paired with a battery pack that provides quiet, zero-emission propulsion with cruising speeds of around 10–11 knots and a top speed of about 14 knots.

We're proud to be supporting Highfield as they push the boundaries of what's possible with electric power.

Yes you can BOOST your speed on the new
Spirit 2 electric outboard motor!

On a full turn of the handle the motor will go up to 2kW but if you press the boost button you can go up to 3kW!

This is just one of the many new exciting features that this quiet & powerful electric motor has. Check out the full details of what’s coming soon on our website!

All of them are electric…

The motor on the green Jon boat is our new Spirit 2.

The motor on the kayak is our eLite.

The motor on the camo Jon boat is our Navy 3.

Three types of motors, all electric, all quiet, all made by us. There’s one for everyone!

It works perfectly fine at the end! The battery on our Spirit 1.0 Plus floats incase it ever falls in.

This is only for the Spirit 1.0 Plus batteries. This is a great feature for loading up by the dock, in bad weather, or if you have young kids around helping carry stuff to and from the boat⛵️

This motor is strong! The Spirit 2 electric outboard motor has enough power to push Jon boats or skiffs. It is a 2 kW motor that has a 3 kW boost feature for enhanced power performance.

The green Jon boat seen in this video is a 1436 (14 foot) multi person vessel and at 3 kW we recorded the Spirit 2 pushing it up to 13 mph! At 2 kW it was going 11 mph!

The other boat in this video is a skiff and it was right there with the Jon boat going just as fast!

Pre order is now available for the Spirit 2 on our website.

This might be the ultimate Jon Boat setup

Having a QUIET electric motor that gets you where you need to go quickly but can also go at a slow trolling pace for a VERY long time is so nice!

This is a 1448 Jon boat with our Navy 3.0 electric motor. We spent this past week testing out a bunch of boats with a bunch of different motors and this was one of our favorite combos. Our new Spirit 2 was also tested on this and it performed incredible on this boat as well. Lots of content from this past week coming soon so you can see all of the different motor & boat combinations!
