IP Financing Sandbox | HKMA | AluHouse
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) today (30 September) announced that participating banks in its Intellectual Property (IP) Financing Sandbox have completed credit approvals for seven pilot cases. AluHouse is honoured to be the only construction company selected for the programme.
Our Chairman, Eric Kwong, attended the press conference and shared his experience of leveraging intellectual property to support financing and continued innovation.
As one of the few companies globally with expertise across all three principal Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) systems—concrete, steel and aluminium—the company has delivered more than 200 MiC projects worldwide.
For AluHouse, patents are more than a safeguard against imitation. They demonstrate our technical capability, strengthen our position in major project tenders and support our expansion into international markets. Each patent reflects the innovation that enables us to compete alongside leading global players.
We sincerely thank the HKMA for launching the IP Financing Sandbox and our long-standing banking partner, Bank of China (Hong Kong), for its valued support.
This financing has reinforced the tangible value of our intellectual property. More than a funding source, it demonstrates how IP can become a strategic corporate asset—driving further R&D, international expansion and sustainable long-term growth.
