Community Living Room is an initiative of Social Welfare Department to provide support to households of subdivided units, especially those with children, through provision of additional living space. The design proposal grasped the essence of the initiative and provided a fresh, uplifting and comfortable space for those in need. A home outside home. What!? A cafe in school?
Why not? The students might take the chance to run a small business under the school's supervision or just to learn about making coffee. In any way, a fresh idea to swerve from the standard tuck shop in school. A design tender proposal to Newman Catholic College for an upgrade of existing tuck shop.

So much has changed for office design, different working mode, more flexibility, collaboration, indoor environment, etc. This design proposal we did for Scout Association of Hong Kong showed the essence of those changes. A recent visit to Chitose area of Hokkaido to review a new Mobile Inn project by Archivision. This will be a good reference for a potential project in HKG. More to come.

Working with stakeholders:
A successful project also involves the stakeholder in its design process. Here Nil Studio Limited with 2SquareMetres co-hosted a Public Engagement workshop with the residents, District Councillors and NGOs in a public estate to gather their views for a future project in the estate.
