Is it the materials, the location or the spaces within it?
Or is it how these elements work together and make you feel?

🏞️ In this project in Prapa Mali, The building follows the land instead of competing with it. Stone walls give the building a sense of permanence. Timber screens control the light and provide privacy. Wide terraces connect the rooms to the pool and the surrounding landscape.

☀️These choices do more than shape how the building looks. They influence comfort, movement, and how people connect with the place.

🌿It should welcome the light, offer shade, and work with the wind and the land. Its materials should age with character. Most of all, it should make daily life better for the people who use it.

We experience the spaces we move through with all our senses, which is why every touchpoint matters. Each element, from furniture and handrails to lighting, thresholds, materials and the smallest details, shapes how a place feels.

When each part is considered as part of the same whole, the environment becomes more coherent, intentional and deeply felt.

The result is not simply a building with objects placed inside it, but a complete experience where structure, interiors and details work together.

𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚.
Set above Navarino Bay, the residence takes its cues from the landscape of western Messinia: the gentle slope of the land, the surrounding olive groves, the open horizon and the shifting Mediterranean light.

We designed the house as two low volumes shaped around the rhythms of everyday life. Between them, a sheltered outdoor space becomes its living heart—a place for dining, gathering and retreat, where the boundaries between architecture and landscape begin to dissolve.

Rather than compete with its setting, the architecture quietly recedes into it. Stone, planting and shade guide a gradual approach, while framed views open towards the sea. Private rooms extend into small courtyards and protected gardens, creating a home shaped not only by the vastness of the horizon, but by the quieter movement of light, air and nature throughout the day.

Every site carries its own conditions: light, landscape, climate, history, materials, culture and the rhythm of everyday life.

We begin by reading those conditions carefully.

A building should not simply stand on a site. It should respond to it, draw from it and add to it with purpose.

When architecture understands its context, it feels more grounded, natural and enduring, creating something to experience every day.
