A small world, designed for play
A contemporary microcosm designed for play takes shape at Agapi Hotel in Crete, through clean lines, natural materials and playful details.
The space unfolds between two outdoor play zones, with a permeable axis connecting the interior with the exterior and allowing play to move freely between the two.
Along the two enclosed sides, timber-clad surfaces incorporate shelves and storage spaces, transforming the structure into an integrated, functional element of the room. The open layout keeps the space flexible, allowing it to adapt and transform according to the children’s needs and activities.
Here, architecture does not define the way play should happen; it creates the framework for it to unfold.
A space designed to accommodate imagination, movement and exploration, with the same natural ease with which the interior meets the exterior.
