We started with a mock-up Dec 2022. I got the project and started Oct 2024. That is how long it takes in a few projects to start. I finished it after a two month break Last week after 950m² (more than 10.000ft²). Stone is from a local quarry similar to travertino marble , veneer , thin stone that covers 7cm from the wall, about 2.75”. It took two workers and a helper. Sometimes long projects are not desirable cause I leave smaller projects which may had better profit. For the time being, I have about 22 workers that are working for me for more than 25 years, and 5 ongoing projects 4 close to home , one at an island. Do not know what is best, fewer crew, fewer projects more time to visit every construction site , or get as many projects as I can manage? Food for thought. Thank God my workers know well their part, they help a lot, putting up lines and inform me every time they need something, and I try to help at the difficult tasks, or I help when I do not trust anyone else to do it.
