Pedestal project for CERAMICS - SECOND EDITION
Eleftheria Tseliou Gallery x The Great Design Disaster

Designed to host works by Leilah Babirye (courtesy & ), Brian Rochefort (courtesy ), and Rinus Van de Velde (courtesy and ), the intervention consists of a series of raw sheet-metal elements paired with solid metal supports, fabricated in collaboration with artist Vassilis Gerodimos.

The pedestals operate as spatial devices in which surface, proportion, and material presence are calibrated in relation to the artworks they support and the space they occupy.

CERAMICS - SECOND EDITION is a collaboration between Eleftheria Tseliou Gallery ( ) and The Great Design Disaster ( ), the Milan space founded by Joy Herro ( ). Following the first edition presented in Athens in 2018, the exhibition continues the gallery’s ongoing exploration of ceramics as a contemporary artistic medium.

Opened during Milan Art Week and Milan Design Week 2026, the exhibition is currently on view at The Great Design Disaster, Via della Moscova 15, Milan.

Pleased to see Translating: Architecture published by As Found Editions × Pavillon de l’Arsenal.

Translating : Architecture explores the diversity of contemporary notions of architecture through the tool of translation. As a mediator between cultural differences and an instrument of resistance to dominant narratives, translation invites us to renew architectural discourse by opening up to multiple frames of reference. To this end, twenty-five architects from around the world were invited to write, in their own language, a short essay on their view of architecture. Translated into French and English, these contributions are accompanied by commentaries from the translators, together revealing frictions, gaps, and discoveries inherent to the act of translation.

Thank you Katie and Marc Antoine for the invitation to contribute a text to the publication.

Architectural Fragments presents a series of marble pieces where stone is treated as a spatial element, testing the limits of the material.

Originating from architectural thinking, the work translates construction logic into object scale. Marble is treated as structure rather than mass, with material selectively removed under constraint.

Situated between furniture and architecture, the pieces can be used or simply encountered. Each element functions as a fragment of a larger spatial system.

At Alcova, the fragments introduce a quiet architectural order, where stone, structure, and light become the primary agents shaping space.
