We are thrilled to unveil our work at the B&E Goulandris Museum of Modern Art in Athens! 🎨🌳 Our design echoes the terraces of the Mediterranean landscape, mirroring the museum's own architectural references. 🏛️🌿

We've softened the sharp geometry of the space by letting plant flows unfold in a sigmoid formation. As they meander from the highest point of the square to the lowest, these plants bring an element of movement and define the different levels. 🌊🌾

Our design approach continues into the museum's atrium, where we've built a three-dimensional vertical garden. By planting trees and perennials at various levels, we've created a space that is as immersive as the art it houses. 🌳🖼️

Reimagining the untouched beauty of nature, we've brought to life an ethereal landscape at Agios Georgios, Antiparos.🌿

Adapting to the unique microclimatic and topographic conditions, we've used mostly native plants and materials to foster ecological balance.

Our design and planting approach was driven by a mix of functional and aesthetic factors, determining the exact locations for planting, and the incorporation of architectural elements like pathways, seating areas, and vantage points.

In this Ecoscapes' creation, we designed a tranquil garden overlooking the stunning Aegean Sea.

A diverse collection of Mediterranean shrubs and ornamental grasses envelops a serene lawn area, with two wooden benches perfectly positioned for sweeping horizon views.

Adding an element of charm and wonder, a captivating hideaway secured by a stone wall nestles next to the pool.

At the heart of this secret garden stands a majestic Port Jackson fig, its foliage mirrored in the shimmering shallow waters.

At the heart of the museum's garden , we echo the majestic gardens of Alkinoos, as described by Homer. The lush landscape captivates your sight, featuring twin hills adorned with ancient olive trees, clusters of cypress trees, and topiary Mediterranean shrubs.

The arrangement, inspired by the golden section principle, ensures a delightful spectacle of native Greek flora across the changing seasons.

🌸 Living Museum of Botanical Wonders 🌸

Experience a dynamic exhibit of botany through our outdoor "living museum". Showcasing plants entwined with Greek mythology, Mediterranean shrubs serve as natural displays for an array of flowering species.

These captivating combinations offer an ever-changing aesthetic interest throughout the year.

🌳 The Arcadian Landscape 🌳

Immerse yourself in the recreated Arcadian landscape, enhancing the existing planting scheme with characteristic fruit trees and shrubs native to Attic terrain.

A “green carpet” of low Mediterranean shrubs further accentuates the authenticity of the area, conjuring a picturesque setting that effortlessly blends the boundaries of history and nature.

In the enchanting island of Sifnos, Ecoscapes has brought a vision of biophilic design to life at . Fusing native Greek flora with the Mediterranean climate, we've cultivated a symbiotic sanctuary that brims with olive trees, lavender, rosemary, cistus, and wildflowers.

🌳Mastering Erosion with Biophilic Design🌳

Our unique challenge was to fashion multiple planting beds that aligned with the site's slope, preventing erosion while maintaining a natural, serene feel. With meticulous planning and design, we harmonized the terrain's gradient into our landscaping, resulting in a vibrant display of nature that not only protects the soil but enhances the property's aesthetic.

🏡Harmonizing Hardscapes & Outdoor Amenities🏡

Ecoscapes's design goes beyond plant life, incorporating functional and elegant hardscapes that enhance the property's outdoor living experience. Among the distinctive additions, we crafted a charming patio, one of the main features of the house, at the heart of which lies a beautiful olive tree.

Coupled with a rustic outdoor wood oven and a quaint dining area, these elements offer the ideal setting for alfresco dining, sharing stories, or simply relaxing, immersed in the beauty of nature.

🌿From Ornamental Beauty to Edible Bounty🌿

Complementing the aesthetic landscape surrounding the house, we've also implemented a productive vegetable garden. This interactive element invites guests to connect with nature on a deeper level, experiencing firsthand the beauty and functionality of a well-planned garden.
