In 2018, he was recognized as one of Europe’s top 40 architects under 40 by the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies (European Award – 40UNDER40 AWARD 2017-2018). Landscape design in rural Kefalonia, shaped by what is already there.

The starting point was not to introduce a new identity, but to read and reinforce the existing rural landscape and its character.

Working with the land, existing vegetation, agricultural traces and cultural memory, the proposal draws from the genius loci of Kefalonia and the distinct Mediterranean character of the Ionian landscape.

Natural, agricultural and cultural layers are conceived as one continuous system - shaping a contemporary landscape rooted in place, rather than imposed upon it.
