💫 PROJECT HIGHLIGHT | BISSA GOLD PROJECT, BURKINA FASO 🇧🇫
(November 2014 and October 2016)

Rabotec is proud to have played a key role in the successful delivery of the Bissa Gold Project, supporting the installation and commissioning of critical processing infrastructure between November 2014 and October 2016.
Working alongside Outotec, our team of over 180 skilled professionals supplied specialized mill installation crews, tools, and expertise to install the project's 6,000 kW SAG Mill and 6,000 kW Ball Mill, while also delivering the electrical installations and mechanical commissioning required for plant startup.

The Bissa Gold Project features a 3 Mtpa gold processing plant, designed to produce approximately 257,000 ounces of gold annually, making it one of the region's significant mining developments.

Fatigue doesn't clock in and out with your shift.

It builds quietly , a late night, a missed meal, a stretch of overtime until a split-second decision isn't as sharp as it should be. On a site where equipment, heights, and heavy loads are part of daily life, a tired mind is one of the most dangerous hazards there is, and one of the easiest to miss in yourself.

A few ways to stay alert and safe on shift:

▪️ Prioritize good sleep and rest: quality sleep the night before a shift is the foundation of real alertness on site. Aim for consistent sleep hours, even on days off

▪️ Take your breaks: a 5-minute pause isn't lost time, it's a reset

▪️ Stay hydrated and fed: dehydration and hunger accelerate fatigue faster than people realize

▪️ Watch for the warning signs: heavy eyelids, slower reactions, irritability, zoning out

▪️ Speak up early: telling a supervisor you're fatigued isn't weakness, it's protecting the whole team

▪️ Look out for each other: sometimes a colleague notices your fatigue before you do

No task on site is worth pushing through exhaustion for. A rested team is a safe team and a safe team is a productive one.
