Under the theme “From Challenges to Solutions,” the five-day bootcamp is bringing civil society organisations together for peer learning, honest reflection and collaborative problem-solving.

We’re glad to be part of this important conversation about building stronger, more resilient civil society organisations.

Knowledge grows when it's shared.

We're excited to see participants from the WACSI Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-HUB) Digital Security and Protection Training putting their learning into practice and passing it on within their organisations.

Following the training, a participant from Sung Foundation (SUFOD) has begun an internal knowledge-sharing session with staff, covering digital security, cyber threats, data protection, digital hygiene, and how to build a stronger digital security culture.

This is exactly the kind of impact the training was designed to create. Empowering organisations not only to strengthen their own digital resilience but also to multiply knowledge within their teams.

We commend Sung Foundation (SUFOD) for taking this important step and look forward to seeing more organisations cascade these critical digital security skills.

The training forms part of the Civic Space Resource Hub (CSR-Hub), a regional initiative supporting CSOs in West Africa with the skills, resources and technical support needed to build stronger, safer and more resilient organisations.

What is generative AI, and where does it fall short?

In this snippet from MIL Knowledge Hub with Manuel, Season 3, we break it down simply: tools like ChatGPT and Claude generate responses based on what they’ve been trained on.

But there’s a limitation-they don’t always have the most recent information, which can affect accuracy when dealing with current events.
That’s where AI agents come in, helping improve real-time relevance.
