This is just a little video to show everyone the shot blasting in wet mode . But also in dry mode it’s not that dusty either .

✅ Advantages of crushed glass:

• Recycled and environmentally responsible
• Graded specifically for abrasive blasting
• Provides effective, controlled cleaning
• Produces less hazardous dust than silica sand
• Gives a more consistent, professional finish
• Suitable for wet and dry blasting

⚠️ Disadvantages of kiln-dried sand:

• Can contain dangerous crystalline silica
• Blasting creates extremely fine respirable dust
• Silica dust is linked to silicosis, COPD and lung cancer
• Not specifically manufactured or graded for blasting
• Can produce inconsistent results
• May cause unnecessary damage to the surface

We use the correct blasting-grade crushed glass abrasive, professional equipment and appropriate PPE to protect the operator, customer, surrounding property and the surface being cleaned.

First house shot blasted really happy being it my first time doing it still learning as im going along. Today marks a new chapter for the company . Today I’m officially introducing “shot blasting” the company . Not just dry shot blasting but also “wet” blasting . With the blasting machine I have and with the correct abrasives using 100% recycled crush glass brings the stones up to its natural colour . Working in places where dust needs to be reduced the wet blasting mode is used so it’s better for the environment. But even in dry mode there’s not as much dust. Please look at 2 example videos I have just recorded just now . 1 in dry mode and one in wet mode Exciting times ahead and can’t wait !

“River stone” cottage raked out , cleaned and repointed in “blaenavon” lime mortar . Big shout out to Lloyd's upvc spraying company for spraying the window frames and K &S sealant and resin bound flooring for mastic around the windows and door . It’s made a massive difference thanks boys! Customer really happy with the outcome of this project 👍

This is probably one of my favourite chimney breasts I’ve worked on . Due to the fact where the stone meets the brick looks “quirky” and rustic and really stands out giving that extra little bit of character . And keeping everything naturally . Was only meant to open the fire place up and repoint the inside. But had to check if the lintel was sound and seen the arch the customer wants to hack the whole wall off and in the end I’m glad I did ! Had to rebuild the arch as the bricks were loose and few brick replacements . Raked out the stone and brickwork , cleaned and repointed back in “blaenavon” lime mortar materials supplied by Tŷ-Mawr Lime Ltd. For the alcoves I done a 3 coat lime plaster system using garden perlite as the scratch coat for a natural insulator followed by a float/devil coat then h**p fine lime as a top coat . And finished off with a “mushroom” colour lime wash. With the hearth laid . Brickwork chimney breast raked out ,cleaned and repointed in Cumbrian lime mortar . Also 2 brick pillars rebuilt either side and hearth laid . Back of fire place was deteriorated so the best option was to lime plaster it . As there was soot there I used cow dung as the scratch coat to stop the soot from bleeding through followed by the float/devil float and top coat in h**p fine lime snd to finish off using a “mushroom” colour lime wash then to paint .
