Acorn Instruments off to Whitby Folk Festival from Saturday 22nd August to Wednesday 26th.
See us in the official craft fair,West Cliff Leisure Centre
We then go to Shrewsbury Folk Festival till the following Monday.

The Video shows our stall at Sidmouth with mainly our pre owned stock,new instruments are normally kept in the van,please ask to try them.
Some of these instruments have been sold however they have been replaced by some very tempting examples.

We are in Kennaway House Gardens at Sidmouth Folk Festival.
What a very busy week so far.
This is the first chance we have had to post this video.

Here we are at Kennaway House getting all ready for the Sidmouth Festival and a friend comes along and decides to lend a hand.

Stall opens at 10am every day, from Friday 31st July and is open till the following Friday at 4.30
Many pre owned instruments will be on display, 30 plus.
Melodeons,concertinas and violins

We also have many new Castagnari melodeons with us,many models,
These however are kept in our insulated vehicle and not necessarily put on show in the heat of a Marquee to make sure they are pristine for potential purchasers.

Sidmouth Folk Festival preparations underway before setting off on Tuesday.

We will have many new Castagnari melodeons with us and lots of pre owned instruments Inc Dino Baffetti Binci, Saltarelle Nuage as new C , Saltarelle Inferno as new plus several Castagnari Lilly's and Tommy's,Handry 18 and lots more
Call and see us at Kennaway House Gardens,you cannot miss us.

We will also have the Marie Nicole 3 voice which had proved incredibly popular since it's launch,3 examples in picture in Cherry,Walnut and Sapele

Getting ready for our mad run of festivals in August

First job,make sure our new to us marquee is all washed and all the bits are here.

Come and say hello and maybe try a melodeon or two.

Both my daughter's attended Folkworks quite a few years ago now and had such a great time and made lifelong friends

NEW ALBUM RELEASE FROM DAVE WHETSTONE

Dave has asked me to spread the word about his new album.

For those of you not familiar with the name Dave is a superb melodeon player and has been associated with names such as Ashley Hutchins, Albion Band, Simon Nicol, and the like.

It has been 30 years since Dave's last acclaimed album "The Resolution " which was rather good to say the least.
This new album has been produced in collaboration with many of the stalwarts on the English folk scene and is really worth adding to your collection.
