Full team out on Saturday night on a railway infrastructure project with the Orange Army. Once the lights were up, the job went like clockwork. Another one completed safely and efficiently.
Well chuffed with the team-great effort from everyone involved. A proper night's work completed.

Had Justin from Klou drop in this afternoon for a chat and to show us Klou’s new grab for 8-tonne-plus excavators.

First impressions? It looks unbelievably well built and very well specced. You can tell there have been no corners cut in the design or build quality. It looks like an absolute savage of a bit of kit.

We’ve got a new grab currently being built by Klou as well, so I won’t lie… I’m pretty excited to get our hands on it and put it to work. Sad? Maybe. But if you’re into machinery, you probably know.

That time of year again… all the machines lined up for their LOLER testing.

We’ve had a really busy few weeks with staff holidays and a heavy workload, so we haven’t had much time to get everything prepped. Despite that, everything went really well and we’re really pleased with the inspection reports.

A big thanks to our mechanic, grease monkey, fabricator and wagon driver — he’s a top man, keeping the fleet safe, compliant and ready for work.

On to the next job!

We carried out tree clearance on this embankment at the entrance to an underbridge. The trees were heavily overgrown to the top, and the restricted access meant this substantial tree was out of reach of the crane.
Although the video doesn’t really show its full size, it was a fairly large tree. It was safely felled using a rope-assisted technique, allowing us to complete the job efficiently while maintaining full control throughout the job.

Saturday night on an Ash Dieback clearance. Four ash trees overhanging the access road with a phone line running straight through the work zone. The Jekko absolutely bossed it, making the dismantle safe and efficient.
Backed up by the Bobcat E27, Vermeer BC1400 chipper, and Bobcat E88 to lift the stems out.
Great teamwork with the right kit for the job. army GMT Equipment
