💜 Mental Health Support at John Wright Electrical & Mechanical Services 💜

Here at John Wright Electrical & Mechanical Services, we have a range of mental health support facilities in place to make sure our people know that they don’t have to face things alone.

We have a dedicated area within our building where you can find mental health information, advice and useful resources, all in one place.

We also have several members of staff who are trained Mental Health First Aiders and Mental Health Advocates, alongside our partnership with Menfulness, who are always on hand to offer support, advice, or simply a listening ear.

Sometimes, just having someone to talk to can make a difference.

💜 Please don’t feel like you have to deal with things alone.
Whether you’re struggling with something at work, at home, or simply not feeling yourself, there is always someone here you can talk to.

Your mental health matters, and asking for support is always okay. 💜

This weekend was the annual Stuart Norris Memorial ride to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Our very own Dave Middleton, founder of the JWEMS Mechanical side, took part alongside Dan Norris (Stuart's Son) and many others from the Portakabin Cycling Club.

As a charity, YAA relies on the generosity of individuals & organisations to help save lives across Yorkshire.

JWEMS were incredibly proud to attend this fantastic charity Golf day and support such a wonderful cause. ⛳

Together, an amazing £11,275.70 was raised for the Neonatal Unit at York Hospital, helping to support the incredible work they do for babies and their families. 👶💙

A huge well done to everyone involved in organising the event and to everyone who helped make it such a success. What a fantastic amount to raise for such a worthwhile cause! 👏🎉

As a proud York-based business, we're passionate about supporting local sport at every level. For many years, we've been proud to support grassroots football and rugby teams, helping to create opportunities for young people across our community. Our partnerships with 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗞𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗟𝗙𝗖 and 𝗬𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗖 are a natural extension of that commitment, allowing us to further support two clubs that play a vital role in inspiring future generations and showcasing the very best of York. On the 12th of July John Wright Electrical & Mechanical Services Ltd will be competing in the annual Dragon Boat Race on the River Ouse to raise money for Door 84.

Door 84 is an amazing local charity that provides support and services for young people, adults with disabilities, and the local community.
