Another project taking shape in Haxby.

We’re building a single-storey rear extension that will create a new utility and kitchen, with underfloor heating and floor finishes included as part of the works.

Alongside the extension, we’re also constructing a separate building that will provide a dedicated home office together with garage and storage space.

The masonry is now underway across both parts of the project, with careful preparation at ground level setting up the next stages of the build.

Nearly there with this kitchen extension in York.

The main construction and installation work is now complete, bringing together the new extension, rooflights, traditional cabinetry, statement stone worktops and carefully chosen brass details.

We’re now working through the final finishing, snagging and full clean before handover.

It’s at this stage that all the individual details begin to come together and the finished space really takes shape.

The work beneath the finished floor matters just as much as what you eventually see.

This sub-floor was prepared in accordance with the structural engineer’s specification, with the reinforcement and service positions checked before the concrete pour.

The concrete was then placed, levelled and finished, leaving a solid base ready for the next phase of the build.

Careful preparation at this stage helps everything that follows run smoothly.

Putting site waste back to work.

Today we crushed the rubble removed from one of our current projects, turning it into reusable hardcore ready for the next stages of construction.

Processing the material on site helps reduce waste movements and the amount of new aggregate brought in, while making practical use of material already available.

A productive day’s work — and a sizeable stockpile ready to go.
