Another week another batch of cabinetry.

Another two cut and edged mdf orders complete with cnc cut fronts and doors for two regular trade customers

Then two under eaves low height wardrobes to go into an awkward loft room.

First stages of the new and more organised effort.

These new trolleys with a very small subtle logo on them 👀 will really help with keeping jobs together in the workshop.

This one is loaded and ready for Mondays latest trade collection of cut and edged finsa board with cnc cut one piece ogee shaker doors for a regular local company.

Well an incredibly hot and sweaty day up and down stairs was all worthwhile to see this mammoth wardrobe in its final place.

All made to measure to fit in an awkward vaulted ceiling area behind the master headboard wall.

Mirror double hanging, shoe shelves with brushed chrome details and large drawers give all the storage needed.

Turn around and there’s a small but perfectly formed desk area, beautiful ‘jasper’ quartz top and a pair of cupboards either side for storing printers and any other office equipment needed.

The colour was a real labour of love on this one and ended up being a blue that’s truly a one off as it was custom mixed by myself to ensure absolute satisfaction for the customer.

Two days of getting some nice little install jobs out of the way.

A bold blue sideboard with a beautiful piece of granite on the top.

Then a little additional set of internal drawers added to a wardrobe previously installed.

Then dodging the showers today to get a neat little coat and shoe storage unit into a utility for a returning customer, giving me chance to take some pictures of the media wall installed a little while ago. Vernites UK Waterbased Paints for all the paint as always and Häfele UK Ltd for the ironmongery.

All go today!

The latest delivery from Ramsey Timber with plenty of Accoya Wood to go at for a batch of windows in howden.

Then a lovely piece of stone for the next run of wardrobes this will look fantastic against a bold blue Vernites UK Waterbased Paints finish.

The sun has even come back out now 🌞

Due to an ever increasing workload and very full diary i am pleased to see I am on the lookout for another pair of hands.

The work will be varied with most aspects of joinery manufacture and some installation works taken on. A great mix of traditional joinery making windows and doors for older properties as well as more modern fitted furniture.

Working as a team is a must as the job is mostly workshop based sharing with three other joiners so communication and forward planning are essential.

Based in Stockton on the forest in York so travel arrangements need to be made to ensure this is not a problem.

Depending on the applicant then a part time role would also be considered if this suits better.

A little bit of a tidy up needed in Then workshop to make room for this one!

A busy bank holiday getting all the carcasses set up and ready for mockup of all the frames and doors to ensure a perfect fit before sending them upstairs to the paint shop.

With over 10 metres of wardrobes in a striking blue finish with granite dresser top and mirrored doors this really is going to look impressive in the customers master suite.

Keep an eye out for the install pictures in the coming weeks.
