Forgive the two different cameras taking photos on different days with different weather, but it hopefully shows the positive results from the fineturf cocktail I've made designed specifically for cricket squares which are in need of some nutrition but the grounds team are finding it difficult to get sufficient water onto the cricket squares.
Having not seen any rain in York for some time, and none forecast, this cocktail gives a moderate amount of NPK with some trace elements with additional Magnesium and a great seaweed extract as a biostimulant.
One advantage of our sprayer is that we can target specific pitches, so the clubs we've done so far have decided to feed the whole square with the exception of any old pitches currently being used for net practice, any pitches currently in use, and any pitches that have started the preparation process.
Whilst watering is hugely beneficial, the risk of scorch from this is very low.
I'm offering this as a service to cricket clubs in the York league area at ÂŁ8.22 per pitch (Minimum charge of 10 pitches) plus ÂŁ1.85 per mile for anywhere outside the York ring road.
