Wishing everyone a great !

But, before we round-off the week at Solinear, we wanted to bring you another instalment of the site tour, visiting a selection of in our beautiful home city of .

This included work for .

Our first stop-off was the . Next was the impressive / (winner of numerous ) on Campus East at the university providing flexible and facilities alongside social and spaces.

More recently, the Piazza Building has taken on another important role within the University. In 2025, part of the building was refurbished to become the new home of the . The redevelopment included open-plan professional studio space, specialist teaching areas, a model-making workshop, facilities, acoustic separation and social and exhibition spaces.

Architecturally, the building has a distinctive curved/crescent-shaped form incorporating numerous façade materials, with extensive glazing contributing to its appearance. The development also incorporated a retained oak tree within its courtyard.

Solinear played a vital role in helping the building's sustainability goals by delivering Solex Halo 150 projecting and AQ100 louvres offering for occupants of the building and allowing vital .

The systems were finished in a complementary RAL colour and installed to follow the sweeping curve of the building, highlighting Solinear's skill and dexterity in creating a high-performance, visually striking façade system.

Solinear designed, supplied and delivered an impressive Aquarius X-LINE 75 in both single and double bank versions with varying accessories including security mesh, blanking panels, bespoke extruded perimeter framework plus coordinating louvred doors.
