Small dressing table and shelving unit completed at the beginning of the week ✅

The plasterer is booked in on Monday to finish the patchwork. Once that’s done, it’ll be ready for a fresh lick of paint 🎨

✨ From dated to beautifully bespoke ✨

This wardrobe makeover completely transformed the room’s storage and appearance.
The original sliding wardrobe had mirrored doors, limited functionality and a large amount of wasted internal space. We replaced it with a bespoke built-in wardrobe designed to maximise every inch.

The finished design includes shaker-style doors with decorative pine beading, creating a classic and timeless look. Inside, there’s plenty of shelving for boxes and folded clothing, generous hanging space, a convenient pull-down rail and three spacious drawers seamlessly incorporated into the wardrobe.
A practical storage solution with a high-end finish—making the room feel more organised, spacious and stylish.

Making a start on our latest project at Hackett Carpentry!

We’re transforming this dated, broken sliding wardrobe into a brand-new bespoke wardrobe built to the clients specifications ✏️

The new wardrobe will include:
- A convenient pull-down rail
- A standard hanging rail
- Drawers
- Plenty of shelving for organised storage

We’re looking forward to bringing this project to life and creating something practical, stylish and built to last.

Small fence repair completed today! 🌳

The client wasn’t worried about perfect aesthetics for this one, as it’s actually the neighbor’s fence encroaching on their property. Their main goal was to get rid of the “held up by ivy” look and make it secure and tidy again.
Mission accomplished on a beautiful day! ☀️

Wrapping up the week with a satisfying transformation! 🛠️

We tackled a clever storage solution for a client looking to reclaim space. We blocked up the original door to the under-stairs area to create the perfect spot for their TV stand. To ensure they didn’t lose that valuable storage, we custom-built a new door and frame to provide access from a different angle.

Once the paint is on, it’ll blend right in and look like it’s always been there. Another job well done!

Finished this stunning floor-to-ceiling wrap-around acoustic wall panelling! 🪵✨

The rich timber tone looks absolutely incredible and adds so much warmth to the space. We took extra care with the details, creating a seamless border around the cupboard for a perfect finish, precision-notching for the sockets, and mounting the speakers directly into the wall for that sleek, integrated look.

Fresh kitchen transformation! ✨
We’ve just wrapped up a bespoke kitchen project and the results speak for themselves. We moved away from the standard chrome extractor fan, opting instead to build a custom cooker hood housing. The added coving details bring so much character to the space—once fully painted, it’s going to look unreal 🔥

For the island, we crafted two unique end panels. One side features reclaimed oak timber salvaged from the original kitchen, giving it a beautiful, storied feel. The other side uses clamped PSE T&G boards to create a clean, classic grooved effect. The island itself will be painted so it will flow throughout 🌊

To tie everything together, we installed Ogee (S-shaped) coving throughout the kitchen, adding that perfect finishing touch to the room’s architecture.
