Been a busy time all summer, installing new boilers for customers ready for winter and some lovely new radiators,
Also tracing and repairing a gas pipe buried in a solid floor that was leaking, customer wasn’t aware of the leak I visited to service the boiler and could smell it, also had to flush a customers heating system after a 3rd party installed a new boiler and failed to clean it out

I can’t stress enough the importance of a proper annual service of your central heating boilers by a heating engineer, the orange dot is actually a jet of flame 🔥, I was able to catch this just in time before the boiler destroyed itself, it’s recommended by most manufacturers to change the burner gaskets and electrodes every 5 years to help prevent this happening and also highly advisable to have an indate tested carbon monoxide detector
