Refurbishment, remodel and 3-storey stone extension to create six 2-bed apartments in the heart of Harrogate.

Plus a bonus project to the rear, converting an old commercial unit into a 1-bed house.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!

It’s a cold Thursday morning in January and there’s an awkward wall against the neighbouring boundary on our Micklegate project. Rather than let one or two of the team struggle through it on their own, all our Bricky’s on-site mucked in instead to help get past it as a team and the job pushed on quicker together.

That’s one of the benefits of having all our work force in-house for SHY Construction.

🚨 Jubilee Hotel 🚨

Currently under construction is another ApartHotel in the heart of Leeds, this one transforming the former Jubilee Hotel into 62 serviced apartments and suites. Working with Oculis Construction Consultants to deliver this for opening in 2025.

The concrete superstructure is in and complete, scaffolding is up to the front elevation and now a team of our in-house S.H.Y bricklayers have descended on-site to get the masonry built.
