Repair to a damaged sandstone head caused by expansion and movement within the surrounding brickwork. Installed stainless steel helical reinforcement bars into the bed joints to provide additional restraint and help stabilise the affected masonry. Carefully repaired the damaged sandstone head, reinstating its integrity while preserving the original stonework and appearance. Finished with a sympathetic repair to blend in with the existing masonry.

Another quality project completed in Holgate, York.

This English bond retaining wall was a challenging build due to the amount of ground it needed to retain. A lot of planning, preparation and attention to detail went into making sure it was built to last, while still achieving a traditional finish.

English bond is one of the strongest brickwork patterns, making it the perfect choice for a wall like this. The end result looks fantastic and really adds character to the property.

A big thank you to the team for all their hard work and effort throughout the project—jobs like this are always a team effort, and everyone should be proud of the finished product.
