Repair job completed the other week!

Was in desperate need for replacing

Removed the whole side including the post and tried to match existing the best we could.

Also had to make some 9inch skirting to go with the rest of the room.

We were lucky to have Ryan with us this week for his Year 10 work experience.

He has been a hardworking, enthusiastic member of the team and has been a pleasure to have around. We wish Ryan all the very best with his GCSEs and every success for the future.

We’re sure he’ll make a fantastic carpenter one day!

We are part-way through this door on the hot sunny day in Yeovil,

Our customer wanted to change their wooden garage door to this- something a little more secure.

We can’t wait to show you the finished look.

A short clip of an oak beam replacement

As you can see the existing support was in no fit state to be holding the floor joists above

So we removed it completely whilst making sure we had plenty of acro props supporting the joists

Had a new beam made and delivered by yandles

Weighing roughly 350kg we needed a few more hands to get it off the truck and into the house

Few templates and a lot of saw dust later, the new one went up (with help from a genie lift😅)

Respect to the builders back in the day without power tools 😅

Overall the room is now safe, and the beam looks great 🤩

A couple of little mdf jobs done recently!

-One corner unit to hide the router ect with a push to open mechanism

-the other one a storage unit and shelves in a spare room.
utilising the awkward slope from the stair case

Have a few other mdf projects on the go, which we can’t wait to see finished 🤩
