A much busier week, the rain has helped almost all of our lawns to recover and grow crazy!💦
Great news as we have been able to go into our fortnightly mowing rota again, if we did not visit last week we will be with you this week for a good tidy and mow after the drought, thanks for all of your patience!
But it is not just the lawns that have grown, hedges and shrubs have also enjoyed the recent damp weather,Joe has been out trimming and tidying,he seems to have a good eye for this,collecting several Google reviews recently, well done Joe, great work!🧤🧤

An incredible heatwave this summer, it is amazing how after just a weeks rain recently the lawns have bounced back they are very resilient!
We have commenced our two weekly rotas again,today in Elburton and Plymstock!
Several have received a recovery boost treatment to help them get over the stress of the crazy temperatures!🌞🌞
Really pleased with the results, some may need a light scarify to take out thatch and dead grass to help them breath again and let the rain and nutrients through into the soil!
If you have a lawn that has suffered this summer,we are in a prime treatment time while temperatures are still high, we can visit and hopefully help with a plan to get your lawn back looking healthy and green again!🧤🧤

We thought last weeks garden makeover in Manadon was tough, this one today in Ermington was a much larger challenge, but we got there!👍👍
Joe and myself tackled this garden in the narrows of Ermington, just dodging the cars was tricky but the Pyrocantha hedge was just awful,I do not know of a more horrible plant to use in a hedge,lovely berries for the birds,but the most awful spikes ever,ideal for stopping unwanted guests I suppose!😂
But after some serious trimming and tidying we managed to get the garden back into a lovely family space that can be enjoyed by the new tenants!🧤🧤

Had a friend call me the Brown Grass Man this week, very apt, I had to smile!😂
Fingers x the rain today will help with lawn recovery!💦
A family trip to Exeter this week could not believe how everywhere has suffered so much from the extreme heat,the usual Cathedral Green was in a right state, so sad!🥲

We love a good garden makeover!🧤🧤
Arrived in Manadon to front and back overgrown areas,I could see through the wilderness there was in fact two beautiful areas with many gorgeous plants!
After a couple of hours intense tidying we unveiled them, both spaces ready to be enjoyed again,the maples were spectacular,with the intense heat turning them into their autumn colours much too early🌞🌞
We are still at ground hog day with almost all of our lawns so filling this strange time in with early hedge and shrub trimming , if your garden needs a little TLC. Please just message Andy or Joe to see if we can be of help!🧤🧤

An unusual job this week, a full acre of very tall grass that had got out of control, the main concern of it being a fire risk in this extreme heat!🌞🌞
We gave the whole area a really good mow and mulch to get the grass down, fingers x we get some rain this week and new growth very soon to eliminate danger!💦💦

The heat is continuing,our regular lawn mowing is virtually coming to a halt,lawns are dormant they will awaken once it cools and we get some rain!💦💦
Joe has been very busy still with some very interesting hedge and shrub trims,I have helped when needed!😂 This morning two identical prunus trims opposite one another in Elburton tight precise trimming required here! Then back closer to home at Waltacre and a big wild hedge ladders needed as was very tall, all trimmed and tidied, great effort in hot conditions Joe!🔥🔥🧤🧤

Great decision to visit Wembury Point today for our annual hedge trim of Ants Lonicera, it was scorching hardly a ripple on the sea! But what a truly lovely hedge to trim in the most idyllic surroundings!🔥🔥🧤🧤
