On Saturday 5th December our Christmas Lights will be on display again to raise funds for the community at Home Park Road, Yateley.
This year we are raising money for three local causes:
Firstly, the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice who rely on charitable donations and like so many places this year are struggling to raise funds after making the difficult decision to cancel most of their fundraising events and close shops, the impact on COVID is likely to be significant.
Secondly, the Frimley Park Hospital appeal to purchase items needed including wash kits, magazines, puzzle books and games for all wards including children’s, stroke recovery, dementia and gifts for staff.
Thirdly, the Hart Wildlife Rescue. Due to COVID their shops are closed and events cancelled. With your help we can purchase animal food, maintenance tools and veterinary supplies for the 2,500 injured, sick and orphaned animals they look after each year.
Thank you for your continued support and we hope you will come and see us again this year in Home Park Road, Yateley GU46 6HN. Sound and light displays will be run at weekends. Please stay within your COVID bubbles and keep space between other visitors for the safety of everyone.
Feel free to view from the safety of your car being considerate to our neighbours and donate online to us, see details below.
We hope to raise as much money as we can to help these causes this year. You can help us by donating in one of the following ways:
• collect up your lose change and put it in our mini house at the end of the driveway or in our new wishing well. Emptied very regularly and covered by CCTV.
• Use our contactless card machine at the end of the driveway. It’s automatically set for a £5 donation. Wish to donate any more? Simply click it again. We accept all credit and debit cards including Apple Pay, Visa, MasterCard and many more.
• Donate online at our Go Fund Me page https://www.gofundme.com/f/yateley-christmas-lights?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet
Please be aware there is a 24 hour CCTV recording on the display for the safety of all our display animals and visitors.
Thank you for your continued support
