🏠🔨 Another busy week on the extension!

Some serious progress made this week! 💪

With the new roof structure in place and the gable end now fully bricked up, we’ve been busy stripping, re-felting and battening the existing roof, tying everything in with the new extension and getting the new Marley roof tiles laid.

The roof is really starting to take shape now, with just the finishing details left to complete.

It’s been a big push from the lads this week, but it’s great to see everything coming together! 👌

🏠 Monday progress on the extension!

A cracking start to the week 💪

Today we’ve stripped, re-felted and battened one side of the existing roof, ready to tie everything in with the new extension roof.

Tomorrow we’ll tackle the other side, then it’ll be onto the tiling for the rest of the week and getting the whole lot watertight. 🔨🏠

Big progress on this one now with the blockwork up and the roof trusses finally in place! 🙌

It’s really starting to take shape and you can properly see the size of the new space now. Next up we’ll be getting the roof covered in and making the extension watertight, ready to push on with the next stages.

Great to see this one coming together! 👌

🏠 Another transformation completed by NJT Building Services! 🔨

The customer wanted to turn their existing grassed front garden into an additional parking space and make much better use of the area.

We excavated the existing grass and soil to the required depth, installed a heavy-duty membrane, followed by 6 inches of compacted sub-base. Driveway grids were then installed and finished with decorative stone.

A massive difference to the front of the property and, most importantly, a practical extra parking space for the customer. 👌

🛁 Another bathroom transformation completed by NJT Building Services! 🔨

While we’ve been waiting for the roof trusses to be manufactured for our extension project, we managed to squeeze in this full bathroom refurbishment — and what a difference! 👌

Out with the old suite and dated tiles, and in with a completely fresh new look. Full-height marble-effect tiling, large walk-in shower with rainfall shower, fitted vanity units, new toilet and basin, LVT flooring, chrome towel radiator and new spotlights.

A great little turnaround while we wait for the trusses to arrive — now it’s back onto the extension and time to get that roof on! 🏠🔨

🏠 Extension update 🔨

Scaffolding is now up and we’re getting very close to roof time on this one! 👌

Brickwork and blockwork are up, wall plates are on and everything is prepped ready for the roof trusses to go on. 🧱🔨

Once the trusses are up it’ll really start looking like a proper extension — then the push is on to get it felted, battened and watertight before the lovely British weather has other ideas! 😂🌧️

Big difference already from where we started. Plenty more progress to come! 👀

What a difference! 👏 We’ve completely opened up this space by removing the internal wall between the kitchen and dining room, creating a much bigger, brighter open-plan area.

🔨 Internal wall removed & doorway blocked up
🍽️ Wren kitchen fitted by us
✨ Quartz worktops
💡 New downlights, under-cupboard & plinth lighting
🚪 Oak doors throughout downstairs
🪵 Oak herringbone LVT flooring

From the original kitchen, through the messy demolition stage, to this finish… a proper transformation! 😍👌
