🚨 Gas leak safely located and resolved 🚨

We were called out following reports of a smell of gas in a customer’s kitchen.

Using our gas detector, we traced the leak back to the gas meter. The gas network provider was contacted and attended to replace the meter inlet and other relevant components.

Once the repairs were completed, we carried out a full purge and tightness test, recommissioned and tested all gas appliances, and safely restored the customer’s gas supply.

❌ Manufacturer wouldn’t carry out a repair…

We were called out to an unvented cylinder with a leak after the manufacturer refused the claim because the cylinder hadn’t been installed in line with their installation instructions (no drain off valve fitted)

After a full inspection, we traced the problem to the lower immersion heater, which had developed a pinhole leak.

✅ Drained the cylinder using our Milwaukee transfer pump.
✅ Replaced the faulty immersion heater.
✅ Installed a new drain point while the cylinder was empty to make future servicing and maintenance much easier.

Sometimes it’s not just about fixing the leak—it’s about leaving the job better than we found it.
