We are looking for a young person to assist the team over the summer months with all types of outside work. Duties will include strimming, hedge trimming, light tree work, ground clearance, fencing, logging and possibly a few jobs around the farm. Candidates will need to be fit and capable (No vapes or ci******es, drink or drugs) Have a good sense of humour (They will almost certainly get teased, so a thick hide will help) Be able to listen to and take instruction but also use their own initiative "safely". We work with a lot of elderly and disabled people on behalf of the district council and folks from all backgrounds for the County council. We also look after many of our local town councils, plus of course all our private home owners, many of which have been with us for over thirty years, so good manners and respect go a long way.
The right person will gain experience with a family business specialising in tree work and agriculture, established in 1989, a weekly pay packet and few stories to take on to university.
Or, perhaps, A full time job.
