𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀
In 2025 we also continued to support our community, including sponsorship and advisory services for The Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham-by-Sea and our pro bono contribution to the Windsor Gardens Pavilion project in Worthing.

As part of our B Corp values, we pledge to contribute 1% of turnover or 5% of profit annually to local causes through donations or pro bono work.

This project provides essential support facilities for Worthing’s beach fishermen, including ice storage to extend the shelf life of their catch, alongside washing facilities that create a functional hub for the fishing community while helping to preserve the tradition of small-boat fishing.

Previously, fishermen were limited to selling only the fish caught that same day, reducing income opportunities and increasing the risk of waste.

The introduction of the ice storage facility has significantly extended the period in which the catch can be sold, improving sustainability and helping to make fishing a more viable long-term livelihood.

In 2023, we continued delivering educational projects for clients such as Holmewood House School but also of great subsequent interest for Horizon Care and Education at Grove Road School in Sutton.

We were brought in partway through this project with a site constrained by surrounding buildings and tight timelines.

We worked to ensure compliance with building regulations, manage costs and meet a critical deadline- to open for the new school year with the Ofstead inspection date looming.

We are thrilled the school was ready for the new academic year and the client recognised JCA’s contribution being placed on a retainer fee basis for future works at other sites.

In 2025 we provided monitoring work on a three-phase refurbishment of a specialist school in Rochdale.
Our ongoing partnership with Horizon Group reflects our shared values in providing specialist learning environments for young people.

We are so pleased to continue to work with Horizon Group this year in Derby for a care home as well as general monitoring works for Horizon into 2026-2027.
