A snapshot of it all! 📸

This guys, is a 7.84kWp system featuring x16 490w Aiko panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3. Installed and commissioned by our wonderful GB Solar Team in the outskirts of Worksop.

This system is going to reduce our clients bill by 115%, produce more electricity than the homes usage (143% to be precise!) and give the home owner 81% grid independence.

It's that time again! 🎅

Christmas is just 11 weeks away, which means GB Solar are putting their festive hats on and joining the Fthc Christmas Present Appeal 2026.

Last year, GB Solar, 7 Core Electrical Wholesale Ltd - Worksop and our amazing customers and community were able to donate 122 presents to the appeal, meaning children from our local area could wake up to presents that they may not have ordinarily received.

This year we want to do EVEN MORE!

GB Solar will once again be an official donation point. You can donate any new gifts suitable for children aged 0-18. Find us at: Unit 6, Coach Crescent, Shireoaks, Worksop, Notts, S81 8AD.

Together, we can ensure every child wakes up to a gift under the tree 💚

Lets kick our week off with a review that we can all be proud of!

We were so pleased to have worked with Mr & Mrs Bell to install their Solar PV & Battery system - a system that is going to generate DOUBLE the home's electricity usage! ⚡

Today is the GB Solar teams annual trip to the NEC for Solar & Storage Live....

How amazing is this review? It's certainly put a smile on our face this morning! 😎

This customer was a pleasure to work for, and we are predicting big things for their new PV & Powerwall system: 5.88kWp Solar, 11.04kW inverter and 13.5kWh of battery storage.

This system will far surpass the homes yearly electricity usage, with PV generation producing 147% energy from solar. This will allow our client to export or store their surplus electricity and give them 84% grid independence. We calculate annual savings of approximately £904 from their electricity bills too!

Installed, commissioned and handed over by our electricians within 2 days.
