We love hearing from our customers — messages like this always brighten our day, especially on a grey one like today.

After such a dry summer, it’s great to see this lawn looking so healthy and green.

Consistent care throughout the year really does make all the difference.

After such a dry summer — and a September that’s still been pretty dry — it’s always good to look back at lawns that have held up well.

This one was well maintained, in good condition and didn’t need a renovation just because it was renovation season.

We’ve spent plenty of time on lawns that have needed a bit more work lately, so it’s nice to remember that sometimes good ongoing care is all that’s needed.

Have a good weekend everyone šŸ‚

Not every lawn needs a renovation.

This one doesn’t.

It’s in good enough condition that there’s no reason to put it through unnecessary work just because it’s renovation season.

Good lawn care isn’t about doing as much as possible — it’s about doing what the lawn actually needs.

Sometimes that means renovation.

Sometimes it means leaving healthy grass alone and continuing with the right ongoing care.

One of the biggest mistakes with lawn renovation is doing more than the lawn actually needs.

On this lawn, the problem is very localised, so there’s no reason to renovate the whole area.

We can focus on the section that’s struggling and leave the healthy grass alone.

Good lawn care isn’t about doing the most work — it’s about doing the right work.

Lawn renovation in progress 🌱

After a difficult summer, some lawns need more than a standard treatment.

This one has been taken right back and properly prepared before reseeding and topdressing — because the preparation is what gives new grass the best chance to establish well.

It might not look pretty at this stage, but this is where the transformation starts.

We’ll be revisiting this lawn over the coming weeks to show you how it develops.

After the dry weather we’ve had, it would be easy to assume a struggling lawn simply needs rain and time to recover.

But this lawn had a much bigger problem hiding underneath.

Chafer grubs had been feeding below the surface and causing serious damage to the root zone.

That’s why checking what’s actually going on beneath the turf matters before deciding what a lawn needs next.

If areas of your lawn are thinning, lifting easily or failing to recover, there may be more going on than you can see from the surface.

Diagnosis first. Treatment second.

Today we have spent the day at the UK Lawn Care Association’s Summer Conference catching up with other lawn care professionals, sharing ideas and learning about the latest developments in the industry.

We’re always looking for ways to improve and bring the very best lawn care service to our customers, so days like this are invaluable.

Thanks to everyone who organised such a great event - we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Healthy lawns aren’t defined by colour alone.

With the current UK conditions, some seasonal stress is completely normal. The real measure is the strength, density and resilience of the grass — and this lawn is showing exactly that.

A top tip during these conditions: raise your mower height slightly and avoid cutting too short. Longer grass blades help support the plant, encouraging deeper roots and improving its ability to cope with stress.

Consistent care helps build a stronger lawn from the roots up, ready to recover and thrive as conditions change.

This lawn has been well watered, which is why it’s stayed green.

Brown lawns are completely normal during long periods of hot, dry weather. We understand that watering isn’t always practical or possible, and without enough water, grass naturally goes dormant to protect itself.

Our treatments continue to support the health of your lawn below the surface, helping it recover more quickly when the rain returns.

As we head towards renovation season, a healthy lawn will always recover better than an untreated one.
