Large Pine reductions in Kinver today, with permission granted from the local authority due to preservation orders being in place. Tricky work on these large trees with seven BT lines underneath, but all completed safely with the clients and neighbours pleased with the results. Call out for a large Oak in Kinlet that had shed large limbs onto a busy B-road. Removing the side weight with the lean to aid with felling with a tractor, we also felled another large Oak in decline with other trees made safe along the roadside too. Last week we were in Suckley, acting on a tree report for the parish council at their park/sports area in the village. We hired in a monster whole tree chipper from our old friends at Arb Plant Hire to help with the task in re-pollarding this large Willow. We also felled Ash with die back and deadwooded several other trees on site. What a scorcher this week!! We tackled this large dead Oak in Stourport with a preservation order, but lifted by the local authority to allow work to take place. Lots of rigging involved on a tricky tree with no decent anchor/rigging points and lots of waste removed.
