⚡ Important update for landlords, agents, and property owners ⚡
From October 2026, new industry expectations mean that anyone carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) will need to hold a recognised Inspection & Testing qualification (such as the 2391 or equivalent), alongside a Level 3 electrical qualification and the latest Wiring Regulations.
This change is aimed at raising standards and ensuring electrical safety checks are carried out by fully qualified and competent professionals.
