Is your heating working properly?!

Now is a great time to check your heating is all working as it should before autumn / winter.

Many boilers will have been turned off or inactive for several months, with people just using their electric immersion for their hot water during the hotter summer months.

My last 2 boiler services have both revealed a jammed central heating pump, as in both cases they hadn't been used for around 6 months. Luckily we have discovered this early before it gets too cold, so I thought it would be a good idea to post this.

I'd advise turning your heating on, even just for 10 or 15 minutes and check that all seems ok and that your radiators start getting warm.

New electric showers fitted for Woore Cricket Club Woore just in time for the new season!

We fitted the most powerful electric shower available on the market - the Mira Sport 10.8kw with air boost technology, which will be a vast improvement on the old 8.5kw trickly showers 💦💦

It is often difficult to find a suitable location for your new oil tank due to strict Oftec regulations, such as required distances from combustible materials.

One of our customers needed a new oil tank and had this issue recently, due to the existing tank being too close to boundaries, fences, doors and windows!! The solution was to fit a "fire rated" tank, which meant that the new oil tank could go back in the same location as the old one. Fully installed to regulations on a new 100mm concrete and ballast pad and fully signed off via building control.
