A bit of attention to detail and care goes a long way. A simple enough partial rebuild of this chimney in lime mortar with 2 new flue liners installed. Not wanting to ‘lose’ a flue we made sure three new pots went on p keep the aesthetics. Taking the time to space and level the pots make sure the end product looks fantastic. HETAS Schiedel UK

This was a pleasure to work on a beautiful thatch property in Dorset. What started as adding a pot and liner for a kitchen extractor unit ended up a partial rebuild as the top section of brick withe and corner of the chimney had totally collapsed. All rebuilt with lime mortar using the original bricks all cleaned up, with a few second hand bricks to match used for the brick withe. HETAS

A nice day to be out inspecting thatch properties in Dorset and Wiltshire to check the safety of existing wood burning stove, open fire chimney and flue installations.
These are being done as part of annual insurance check requirements but anyone owning a property, purchasing a home or wanting to sell would be advised to have an inspection to check the safety and compliance.
