Another day of spotlights!
This afternoons job in Woodhall Spa was a different one yet again. A block and beam 1st floor flooring structure meant that it wasn’t possible to take flooring and carpets up to run cables through. 2 pendants down to supply 2 separately switched rows of 5 prism downlights in white/warm white configuration. Started by marking the spots out based on 1/10 and 1/4 of the room length and width ways. Hit a couple of MF ceiling rails with the first measurement so altered these to suit so I just missed the rails. to rescue the new flooring from plaster dust, cut 9/10 holes out right just managed to drill the wrong mark on the last light typically 🤦🏼♂️. Next step relocate the 2 existing switch wires to their new locations, fish between the new holes with my rods, magnet and chain. And from there it was easy. Enlarge and fill the existing holes ready for the decorators arriving in the next few weeks.
