During this heatwave, please remember BBQs, fires, or any naked flames are prohibited from the Sandlings Forests.

If you see a wildfire:

๐Ÿ”ฅDial 999 and give an exact location.
๐Ÿ”ฅStay safe and wait for the fire and rescue service.
๐Ÿ”ฅShow them where the fire is.
๐Ÿ”ฅCall the police immediately if you see anyone starting fires deliberately.

Keep yourselves and the nation's forests safe in the sun ๐ŸŒก๏ธ

Did you know that it can take up to 48 hours for the ashes from a disposable barbecue to cool down completely?

One careless action could impact the environment for decades to come.

Leave your BBQs at home, skip the campfire, and make sure ci******es are disposed of properly. If you spot a wildfire, call 999 right away โš ๏ธ
