🏡✨ A Smarter Welcome Home ✨🏡

When it was time to replace their front fencing, our customer decided to keep the classic look of round-top palisade fencing, but with a few carefully considered changes to create a smarter finish.

The new fencing features a smaller 50mm gap between the pales for a more substantial appearance, along with an added gravel board at the base. The fencing also slopes neatly down from the gate posts, helping to frame the entrance beautifully.

Made from pressure-treated timber and finished in Sadolin Natural, the result is an attractive, durable front boundary that complements the property perfectly. 🌿

✨ Now That’s a Transformation! ✨

If ever a pair of gates needed replacing, these were certainly ready for an upgrade!

Our customer chose to keep the same traditional style but replace the old, tired gates with a beautiful new pair of Glemham Gates, handcrafted from hardwood Iroko timber.

The new gates have been finished with Rubio DuroGrit oil, enhancing the natural colour and character of the Iroko while providing a durable, low-maintenance finish – a great alternative to gates that require regular painting.

The result is a fantastic before-and-after transformation, retaining the character of the original entrance while giving it a smart new lease of life. 🌿

When designing this bespoke gate, our customer wanted it to look just as impressive from the back as it does from the front.

To achieve this, we handcrafted a double-boarded gate, with boarding on both sides to completely conceal the internal framing. The result is a clean, elegant appearance whichever side you're viewing.

Installed within a stunning brick archway, this outward-opening gate has its hinges visible from the front, adding a traditional touch while complementing the character of the entrance.

It's another example of how thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship come together to create a truly bespoke finish.

For this project, we replaced the rails and boards with new, like-for-like materials while retaining the existing concrete posts, which were still in excellent condition. This provided a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.
