At Dewsbury & Proud Ltd, we are always pleased to welcome visitors who share our passion for the lifting industry. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Jacobus, a dedicated crane enthusiast who travelled from the Netherlands to visit our facilities and explore our fleet.
For more than six years, Jacobus has travelled across numerous countries, visiting crane companies and documenting the industry through his passion for heavy lifting equipment. His enthusiasm reflects the strong global community that continues to support and celebrate our industry.
During his visit, Jacobus toured our facilities, learnt more about our operations and got up close to a number of our cranes. Among his favourites were our Liebherr LTC 1050-3.1 and LTM 1090-4.2, praising the LTC's versatility and elevated operator's cab, alongside the LTM 1090's overall design.
Reflecting on his visit, Jacobus said:
"The facilities are very spacious, and there are great plans in place for future expansion. What stood out most to me was how friendly the team were and the willingness to make my visit a great one. All staff were very helpful and easy to talk to. I'd encourage anyone with a passion for cranes and heavy lifting equipment to stay humble, patient, and always be kind."
