Another base completed today in Bilston ✅

17ft x 19ft dug off and stoned up, all ready for another Lidget double garage to land in a few weeks 👌

Because of the size of the base — and because we weren’t fancying wheelbarrowing concrete around in today’s heat ☀️🥵 — we had it pumped in instead!

Another tidy job completed and one step closer to another garage install 🚧

Another lean-to base completed and ready for a new installation.

This base has been prepared for a Lidget lean-to garage, which is scheduled for installation in Whitchurch over the coming weeks. Thorough preparation is essential, and we take great pride in ensuring that every base is finished to an exceptional standard.

Another reinforced concrete base completed this week in Swindon for Hanson Buildings 👌

This one was a replacement base after tree damage caused issues over time. Amazing what a few roots can do when they decide they own the place 🌳💥 Safe to say the old base had seen better days, so we got stuck in and put down a solid reinforced concrete base ready for the new garden room.

Plenty of digging, levelling, steel reinforcement and concrete later… job done properly and ready to last for years 💪 Always nice seeing everything come together after a hard few days on site.

Now normally this is where I’d upload loads of photos showing the process and finished job… BUT for some reason my phone has decided it doesn’t want to save pictures anymore 🤦‍♂️😂 At this point I genuinely can’t tell if it’s a phone issue or if I’ve reached that age where technology just starts fighting back!

Hopefully I’ll get it sorted before the next project because apparently “have you tried turning it off and on again?” only works so many times 😅

Another large asbestos garage removed today in Stoke-on-Trent for Lidget Compton 💪

This one measured a massive 32ft long x 10ft wide and has now been safely dismantled, removed, and all waste taken away by ourselves.

Something a little different for us today 👌

Today’s job involved excavating and completing 60 metres of trenching at a depth of 700mm ready for the installation of a new 6mm armoured cable.

Once the trench was prepared, the cable was carefully laid and then blinded with sand to give the cable proper protection and prevent any damage from sharp materials within the ground. We then backfilled the trench to 200mm above the cable before installing underground caution tape to clearly identify the cable route for any future works.

After the caution tape was laid, the trench was fully backfilled and levelled back up, leaving the area clean, safe and tidy on completion.

A solid day’s work with everything completed to a high standard from start to finish 💪
