Maize 2026 - It was ☀️ and variable yields but we learn from it and move on!

Whilst there is a lot of talk about direct drilling and strip till, the best yielding crops we harvested featured an application of muck, plough, power harrow and drill deep into a firm but compaction free seedbed ✅

Next we get on with more lime spreading, grass mowing and baling and drilling!

Great to be chopping some super crops of maize over the weekend. This local customer irrigated in early July and it was very worthwhile!
