WOW!House • Our doors and windows are on display at this year’s WOW!house!
For their room, architecture and design studio approached William Richards to create a bespoke French door and round porthole window responding to a brief inspired by a 1970s Mediterranean hotel that felt as though it has stood for centuries on the coast.
The round window in the shower is a subtle nod to that era’s coastal architecture, while the slim French door with its espagnolette bolt opens directly onto a small terrace, extending the space outward and grounding it in its imagined setting.
We’ll be sharing detailed imagery and more about how these bespoke pieces were created in the coming days.
