Today tried something abit diffrent and I'll be very honest I feel there's a time and a place for the product but think I prefer the more traditional or quick set sets than using a retarder.

One of those jobs. House Hall way had started to crack, obviously when we looked at it we spoke and decided the best plan of action was to cut the bad areas out. if there were and issue behind it I'd just walk away obviously get the correct trades in to do there bits then I would come back. looking around the plastering work wasn't great and wasn't sharp but overall not a full reskim. what I fount was just shoddy workmanship. Beads that hadn't been nailed/fixed causing cracks on edges. areas that screws had popped because they were over screwed in. skrim showing in corners and I feel whoever did it didn't want to buy an extra box of screws because there just wasn't enough. What looked like it could be a horror show ended up just being just shoddy prep work. Had a few bits to add more screws reskim and patch.

A quick fire day........ or maybe not 😂

so today I got to use the flexible trowel out and omg did I see/feel a difference. absolute quality 👌. Everything about it felt perfect. I'd like to think my plastering game is top quality but this trowel 100% will add abit more quality to my finishes.
