🎨 Painting & decorating isn’t a quick fix — it’s a process.

Something we always try to explain to our customers is that during a decorating job, things can sometimes look worse before they look better.

You might come home at the end of the day and notice a little area that hasn’t been finished yet, see filler or sanding marks, or even wonder why there doesn’t seem to have been much painting done that day.

The reality is, a huge part of professional decorating is preparation.

Filling, sanding, repairing, masking, cleaning and priming all take time, but that preparation is what gives you the finish at the end. We could rush through the prep and get paint on the walls quicker, but that’s not how we work.

Most jobs don’t really start to come together until those final few hours, when the last coats are going on, the masking is coming off and everything starts looking finished.

And even when the “final coat” has gone on, we’re still checking our work, touching up anything we’re not completely happy with and making sure the finish is as close to perfect as we can possibly get it.

So if your property looks a bit chaotic halfway through the job, don’t panic 😅

Trust the process. Painting & decorating isn’t a sprint — quality preparation takes time, and a quality finish is worth it.

📅 We’re now taking bookings for October

We’ve also only got a few spaces left for exterior work before we close our external decorating diary until May 2027.

If you’ve been thinking about getting the inside or outside of your property redecorated, now is a great time to get booked in.

🏡 A full transformation, inside and out! 🎨

We decorated this beautiful living room a few weeks ago, but it has only just been fully dressed — and the finished result looks absolutely stunning.

This week, we returned to complete the exterior decoration, freshening up the masonry and restoring all the dark detailing around the windows, dormers, fascia and entrance.

The whole property now looks clean, sharp and beautifully finished from every angle.

A huge thank you to our lovely customers for trusting Roll With It Decor with both the inside and outside of their home.

📅 We’re now taking bookings for the end of July.

The before and after on this one really does speak for itself 😍🎨

What a transformation! From tired, weathered render to a fresh, clean finish that completely lifts the whole property 👌

On this one we carried out full exterior decoration, including:

✅ Full preparation to the render
✅ Making good to cracks and damaged areas
✅ Proper protection to surrounding areas
✅ Two coats of masonry paint for a fresh, long-lasting finish
✅ Black detailing to sills, trims, canopy and lower sections
✅ Clean, sharp lines around the windows and features
✅ A proper tidy finish from top to bottom

The difference a well-prepared exterior can make is massive. Not only does it make the house look fresh again, it also helps protect the property from the weather 🌧️☀️

We don’t just “throw paint on” — preparation is everything. The better the prep, the better and longer-lasting the finish 💪

If your exterior is looking tired, stained, cracked or just ready for a freshen up, now is the perfect time to get it booked in while the weather is on our side.

What a difference a freshen-up makes 😍🏡

This property had tired, dirty-looking pebble dash that was really letting it down, so we gave it a clean, bright new finish, along with cleaning up the uPVC and the front canopy to bring the whole entrance back to life.

A simple transformation, but it’s made the house look so much fresher and more welcoming 👌
