Start to finish on a job from last week. The customer could hear a hissing noise coming from around the sink unit in the kitchen island, we diagnosed it as an underground pipe burst, and almost complete strip down and dismantle of the kitchen island. We soon found the leak to be about 20cm after the stop tap. We believe it to have been caused by a lack of pipe protection when the concrete flooring pad was laid. Replaced the pipes and properly protected, and then rebuilt the kitchen island back up.....you would never even know we have been!!!
Thanks to Best Gas Services Ltd for helping on the job and Andeejay electrical for sort the bare wire that was also found.
